What we collect about you

Your email address, the preferences you set (jurisdictions, counties, Slack webhook URL, CSV on/off), delivery logs (which digests were sent to you and when), and billing status received from our payment provider. Payment card details are handled by Dodo Payments and never reach our servers.

How we use it

To send the digests you asked for, to manage your subscription, and to answer support requests. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Transactional email is sent through Resend; Slack posts go to the webhook you provide.

About the records we send

Digests contain public records published by government licensing agencies: business names, legal entity names, premises addresses, license types and filing dates. Some legal entities are sole proprietors, so a name may be a person's name as it appears in the public record. We do not add phone numbers, email addresses or other personal contact details, and we drop mailing-address and phone fields that some agencies publish. If you are named in a record and want it excluded from our digests, email us and we will suppress it; corrections to the record itself must be requested from the issuing agency.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. Preference pages are reached by a private link sent to your email; keep it private.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account for as long as you subscribe and for 12 months after cancellation for billing records, then delete it. Email support@pouralerts.com to delete sooner or to request a copy of your data.
